Security video by one of the victims allegedly showed Benoit walking her dog through the parking lot and “nonchalantly stoop down to puncture the tires of the two cars” in view of the camera, a police news release states.
El Paso County Jail records stated that Benoit was booked on five counts of criminal mischief.
Benoit remained jailed Tuesday under a total bond of $4,500, according to jail records.
Additional charges are pending because not all victims have come forward, police said.
